Homicide in Annevoie: autopsy confirms death following multiple fractures

The autopsy of the man who had died in Annevoie (Anhée) during Friday to Saturday night has made it possible to confirm that the death was caused by multiple fractures brought about by a car impact, announced Namur’s prosecutor’s office. Meanwhile, two individuals have been arrested and taken in for questioning after the events. One has been released, while the other has been handed over to an investigating magistrate as he was charged sometime Sunday with first-degree murder. Sunday evening, he was still being interrogated by the investigating magistrate, and no warrant for arrest had yet been issued.

During Friday to Saturday night, a quarrel between three individuals degenerated on the Annevoie village square. Two of the three individuals got into a vehicle with which they hit the third individual. Though assistance was provided, the victim died on the premises as a result of his injuries.
