Dutch anti-nuke activists to file complaint against Belgium

A Dutch anti-nuclear group, Stop Tihange Association, will go to a police station in Tongeren on the 21st of April to file a complaint against the Belgian authorities, whom they accuse of endanger millions of lives with the “dilapidated” reactors at Tihange and Doel. For the Stop Tihange Association, the Belgian State is not doing enough to fulfil its obligation to guarantee the safety of the populations, especially the people of Holland.

The complaint will be lodged at 2 p.m.

The activists also fear that the lifespans of some nuclear plants might be extended beyond the legal limit of 2025.
