Speed checks will be organized on Wednesday in 545 places in Belgium under a Europe-wide operation, the Federal Police announced on Tuesday. Tispol, the network of European traffic police forces, will conduct the vast speed-check operation from Wednesday at 06.00 a.m. to Thursday at 06.00 a.m. In Belgium, it will involve 330 police officers working in 545 locations.
At the last edition of the operation, held in October 2017, 2.81% of the 1.3 million drivers checked had exceeded the various speed limits.
