A farmer in Jabbeke died on Saturday after being crushed by his tractor, the Bruges section of the Eastern Flanders Prosecutor’s office has confirmed.
The accident took place at around 5.30pm. The victim wasn’t strapped in and the tractor jerked forward and he ended up crushed underneath it.
