A large explosion happened on Thursday in the waste treatment firm, Indaver, located in the port area of Antwerp. The company indicated that the incident caused one death and four injuries. The explosion also caused a fire, sending debris on to the A12 motorway.
The exact causes of the explosion have yet to be determined.
