Average temperature reaches a record level in 2018
The year 2018 also had the lowest number of days of rainfall ever recorded in Uccle, 142 days compared to the normal value of nearly 199 days.

The average temperature reached 11.9°C in Uccle during 2018. It equals the 2014 record, according to the annual climate assessment, published on Tuesday by the Royal Meteorological Institute (“RMI”).

The year 2018 also had the lowest number of days of rainfall ever recorded in Uccle, 142 days compared to the normal number of nearly 199 days. The previous record goes back to 2003, with 157 days of rainfall.

The values for overall sunlight and relative humidity reached levels described as exceptional by the RMI during 2018.
