Expect rain from Wednesday, IRM says

The sunny Easter days will be followed by rain from Wednesday, the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) announced on Sunday. Starting on Wednesday, the risk of showers and storms will increase, while temperatures will drop. Wednesday will also be cloudy, with winds at medium to fairly high speed, coming in from the south. Maximum temperatures will be about 20 to 22 degrees in the centre of the country

On Thursday, the weather will remain variable, with occasionally clear skies alternating with heavy clouds. There will be light to heavy showers at times, gaining in intensity in the east of the country. Highs will be about 16 degrees in the centre, while the winds will blow in steadily from the south.

On Friday, the weather will be more turbulent, with a rain system moving across the country from west to east, along with stronger winds. Highs will be between 15 and 17 degrees in the centre.
