The maximum price for petrol will drop on Wednesday for the first time in 2019. A litre of 95 E10 petrol will cost 1.546 euro maximum, said the economy ministry on Tuesday. The new price is 1.9 cents cheaper than the previous price.
Last week, the price of petrol rose for the 10th time this year. Its maximum price had risen to 1.565 euro per litre, the highest level since July 2015.
Petrol 98 (E5) will also be cheaper on Wednesday: 1.630 euro per litre (-1.7 cents).
