This summer, Belgium’s national railway company SNCB will put 76 additional trains into service for the various festivals, it announced today.

Discount rates will be applied for a series of festivals, and a train has been specially redesigned for the occasion, the company said in a press release on Friday.

Throughout the summer, SNCB will collaborate with 13 festivals, with additional trains chartered for 7 of them, meaning more than 75,000 additional seats. The capacity of regular trains will also be increased at certain times to account for traffic.

The festivals in collaboration with SNCB are Werchter Boutique (which took place last weekend), Rampage Open Air, Graspop, Pennezakkenrock, Couleur Café, Rock Werchter, Dour, Hype-O-Dream, TW Classic, Tomorrowland, Esperanzah, Reggae Geel and Pukkelpop.

Nearly 200,000 festival visitors used the train last year.
