On Sunday 22 September, car-free Sunday, Brussels diners are invited to join a breakfast in the middle of rue de la Loi with space for 800 people.

Don't worry, there won't be any cars.

While during an ordinary weekday, Brussels is known for heavy traffic, car-free Sunday means that the normally busy streets will be occupied by throngs of people, and not a car in sight.

In order to celebrate the yearly occasion, Thon Hotel Brussels has announced that it will organise breakfast in the heart of Brussels together with Puro Fairtrade Coffee. The tables will run from number 35 to 77 in Rue de la Loi, where visitors can sit down between 10:30 AM and 12:00 for a breakfast together.

"Breakfast is accessible and free for all. Participants are invited to donate (without any obligation) to one of the 3 partner associations in exchange of this great moment, freshly brewed coffee and delicious croissant," said a release on the event.
