Antwerp prison guards stopped work on Friday morning, reports LCA union secretary (CSC) Filip Dudal. In this way, the workers intend to express their dissatisfaction with the chronic lack of staff in the prison.
A workers' meeting was held on Friday morning, at the end of which it was decided to stop work.
The police are present on-site to ensure security in the prison.
