A 50-year-old man was killed by gunfire on Sunday around 9:00 PM near the Sun7 night shop in Flawene, indicated Namur’s Prosecutor, confirming what several media had reported. The suspect is on the run.
The victim, a man born in 1972, was walking his dog with his partner when the incident occurred. Apparently, he had an argument with several people. One of them shot him, before fleeing.
Subsequent reports have also said that the woman accompanying the man was also hurt.
The area has been cordoned off and police are searching for the suspect.
