Five students were still unable to return to their digs following Monday night’s explosion in the Paardenmarkt, Antwerp, the spokesman of the University of Antwerp said on Wednesday. “That should not be the case for many more days,” the spokesman added.
The university had proposed placing rooms at their disposal for free on campus, but the students concerned have found shelter in their own families.
Thirteen students managed to postpone their exams following the explosion.
