Dutch pilots at Ryanair decide to join Friday’s strike

Ryanair pilots based in the Netherlands will take part in Friday’s strike at the low-cost carrier, the Dutch pilots union, VNV, announced on Tuesday. The 28 September strike was launched by cabin staff in five European countries, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Last week pilots based in Belgium also decided to take strike action. Now they have been joined by their Dutch colleagues.

The strike is meant to press demands for Ryanair to follow local labour laws.
