Heatwave: temperature breaks thirty degrees on Monday

Temperatures will begin to rise on Monday, with peaks between 27 and 32 degrees. The sky will be clear despite the presence of altitude clouds, MRI forecasted.

Clouds will develop during the afternoon in the west of Belgium. Maximum temperatures will rise, up to 27 degrees in the Upper Ardennes, 29 degrees at the coast and up to 32 degrees in De Kempen. Southeast winds will be low to moderate.

The weather will remain dry during the night. Minimum temperatures will range from 17 degrees in the Hoge Venento around 22/23 degrees in major cities.

In the coastal area, a northwest breeze will refresh the air mass in the afternoon and evening. In the interior, south/southeast winds will be low to moderate.
