Jewish Museum attack – Nacer Bendrer denies being involved in the attack

Nacer Bendrer, Mehdi Nemmouche’s presumed accomplice in the attack on the Brussels Jewish Museum, denies being involved in the attack, his lawyer repeated on Thursday. His lawyer will ask for his client, who will appear in front of the Brussels Grand Jury on Friday, to be released. “My client had nothing to with the attack, and we will prove it”, says Counsel Descamps, who is representing Nacer Bendrer alongside the French lawyer Julien Blot.

When he was arrested on the 9th of December in Ceyreste, around thirty kilometers East of Marseille, Nacer Bendrer was heavily armed. He was in possession of two automatic pistols, a hunting rifle, a charger, ammunition and a Kalashnikov machine gun.
