Reconstructions in the kidnapping and murder case of Béatrice Berlaimot

Reconstructions are currently underway in the Semois area in Arlon, as part of the Béatrice Berlaimont case. The Semois area has been closed off since late Monday afternoon. It’s where the main suspect in the kidnapping and murder of Béatice Berlaimont, Jérémy Pierson, said he met the teenager. The reconstructions are expected to continue late into the evening on Monday, and last several days.

The police has blocked access to several roads in the area, including the rue de Sesselich, where the teenager’s former school is located, and the avenue Patton.

The Prosecutor’s office declined to comment for now.

Béatrice Berlaimont, a 14 year old teenager, disappeared on the 21st of November 2014. Her body was found in woods near Sesselich on the 1st of December 2014, which led to a strong emotive reaction in the region. Jérémy Pierson has partially confessed.
