Tuesday, 19 May 2015
Re-enactments are on-going in the Beatrice Berlaimont case. They were taking place in Caserne Callemeyn in Arlon on Tuesday afternoon. Many police officers were on site to take part in the re-enactments. Mr. Soblet, the attorney for the accused, was also present. The neighbourhood is not affected as the re-enactments are taking place within the barracks.
This is where 14-year-old teenager Beatrice Berlaimont was allegedly kidnapped and kept in a container for approximately 10 days by Jeremy Pierson. The teenager disappeared from Arlon on November 21st, 2014. Her body was discovered on December 1st, 2014 in the Sesselich woods. The prosecutor will report on the re-enactments late on Thursday or on Friday depending on the investigating judge’s instructions.
