P.C, a 60-year-old paedophile from Antwerp, handed himself in to Cambodian police, his lawyer Dirk Grootjans said on Friday. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison by the Antwerp correctional court for sexually abusing children.
“After this heavy conviction, he needed time. Now, he wants to come back to Belgium and appeal. I have been preparing for his return since the beginning of February. He should be back on Saturday or Sunday”, his lawyer said.
The investment advisor was sentenced to 19 years in prison by the Antwerp correctional court at the end of January. He also has to be available to the Justice department for 15 years. The 60-year-old was found guilty of sexually abusing children in Cambodia and the Philippines, as well as his own adopted daughters. He filmed it, and had at least 700 Gb of child pornography. The tribunal ordered his immediate arrest.
