A young woman from Uccle is suspected of inciting an attack at the Grand-Place during the return of the Red Devils from the Russia World Cup on 15 July 2018, La Dernière Heure reported. She was indicted in early August. Yousra B.S. (25) is suspected of posting messages on a social network urging people to perpetrate such attacks. “She is suspected of disseminating this message against the Belgian supporters on Telegram on 15 July,” the spokesman of the Federal Office of the Public Prosecutor, Eric Van Der Sijpt, explained, adding that the suspect has denied this.
The message was noticed since Yousra was under the surveillance of the State Security Department ever since she travelled to Iraq in June 2015 to join the Islamic State (IS) fighters.
Investigating judge Claire Bruyneel indicted the young woman in early August for participating in the activities of a terrorist group and inciting others to commit terrorist infractions. A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yousra is the elder sister of Firdaous B. S. (15), reported mission in 2017 whereas she went to Syria in 2017 with her companion and his little daughter. On their return, the adolescent was placed in detention on suspicion of participating in the activities of a terror group.
