Police are looking for three more suspects thought to have also participated in the gang rape of a 15-year-old girl, after seven of her attackers were placed under detention this week.

Details about the three suspects were not made known, but media reports said they were part of a group of teens, mostly minors, to have collectively raped their victim, with whom they were acquainted.

The perpetrators filmed parts of the rape, which took place in March in the town of Chaudfontaine, in the vicinity of Liege, and shared it on social media platform Snapchat.

New details obtained by SudInfo said the attack happened during a party in the home of one of the perpetrators, aged 13.

The group had reportedly had too much to drink and, after their victim passed out, they would have reportedly undressed and sexually abused her.

Five of the seven teens detained are minors and will be put in a youth detention centre for a minimum of three months, while the other two are facing a prison sentence of between 10 and 15 years.
