2019 elections – The N-VA wants a new tax shift

The N-VA is calling for a new tax shift and for the lowest pensions to be increased.

Former Prime Minister Jan Jambon spoke to De Tijd and L’Echo about the Flemish nationalist party’s manifesto on Saturday.

Raising the lowest pensions and another decrease in taxes for private citizens are the N-VA's main priorities.

“The Michel government instigated a tax shift, which in reality was a tax cut. We want to change that, as the pressure taxes put on people is still very high. We have done a lot for businesses, but there’s still a lot to do for their employees”, Jan Jambon said.
