European stock exchanges start in the red

European stock markets started Wednesday in the red, following losses on Wall Street and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Investors remain concerned about the impact of the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic as it intensifies in the United States.

European stock exchanges started with losses of 2-3%. The Bel20 started with a loss of 1.5%.
