Colyrut and OKay recall the Everyday and Nice&Easy salad mixes

The Colyrut, OKay and Solucious supermarkets have asked their customers not to eat the Everyday (200g) and Nice&Easy (400g) salads. This is due to the detection of methiocarb residue (a pesticide) on the endive used in the mixes. It was found during a test by the Federal Agency for Food Security (Afsca).

The supermarkets have asked their clients to bring the products back to their stores, where they will be reimbursed. The batch numbers for the products concerned are: Everyday EL-SM2001431 and Nice&Easy EL-SM4001431 / EL-SM4001401. The expiration dates on the mixes are the 6th and 7th of April 2015. “Possible symptoms of methiocarb poisoning are stomach ache, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Methiocarb only causes health problems if consumed in large quantities.

If you have eaten an Everyday and/or Nice&Easy salad mix(es), and have these symptoms, please go to your doctor immediately”, the Colruyt group says.
