Around 50% of junior managers get a company car in Belgium, compared to 0 to 16% in neighbouring countries, says an international study by the Hay Group. L’Echo reported on it on Wednesday. A reduction in the advantages linked to the company car system – introduced in 2012 – has not reduced its popularity, as the figures prove: in 2014, there were 650,000 company cars in Belgium, an increase of 3.6% compared to the year before. The number of company cars in circulation in Belgium has gone up by 13% since 2010.
Volvos, Audis and BMWs are the most popular choices for company cars.
