The Fagron company from Ghent announced on Tuesday that it has bought the U.S. firm Humco. The purchase price could amount to US$70 million, based on the results of the acquisition.
Humco delivers syrups and brand-name pharmaceutical products to more than 45,000 pharmacies in the United States. The Texas company was founded in 1872.
Fagron disbursed US$47.5 million for this buyout, a figure that could amount to US$70 million according to Humco’s results.
