Following a disastrous start to its summer sales, the Belgian branch of Les 3 Suisses mail order and e-commerce company has fallen into bankruptcy, L’Echo newspaper reported on Thursday. Les 3 Suisses-Belgium had been taken over by the French company Domoti from the German group Otto in 2017. This year’s summer sales were the last opportunity to save the company. However, they plunged by -30% compared to 2017.
The Belgian branch was then declared bankrupt by the Tournai Commercial Court on the 10th of July. Paul Debetencourt was appointed curator and a new buyer is being sought.
