Belgian company signs important IT contract with EU Commission

The IT services provider Modis Belgique signed an agreement with the European Commission for the management of 1,200 IT personnel, they announced Thursday. The framework contract, worth over 500 million euros — the most important concerning IT services within the Commission — will be performed during the next four years.

Modis will be responsible for the IT service provider distribution network in Belgium and will coordinate the ITC recruitment within the European institutions.

“Modis, a branch of the international group Adecco Groupe, is implanted in all European Union countries, which makes it a dependable partner for European Institutions, but also for the IT profiles wishing to work for the EU,” adds Hubert Vanhoe, Modis’s Benelux’s Director General. “Moreover, through our head office, we can help their partners find a job in Belgium.’’
