Deliveroo is extending to 23 new cities and making its Marketplace+ service available to small local restaurants, the company announced on Thursday in a press release.
Its couriers - already active in eleven Belgian cities - will soon appear in the Walloon cities of Mons, Wavre, La Louvière, Nivelles, Binche, Verviers, Seraing, Thuin, Gosselies, La Hulpe Genval, Braine-l'Alleud and Rixensart.
The Flemish towns it will operate in are Knokke-Heist, Blankenberge, De Haan, Brasschaat, Lier, Beveren, Zaventem, Grimbergen, Diegem, Vilvoorde and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.
285 restaurants in Belgium already collaborate with Deliveroo who expects this number to increase to 500 by the end of the year.
Marketplace+ is a service through which restaurants can be present on the platform, using either their own couriers or the existing network of Deliveroo couriers.
