Hamza Attou, accomplice of Salah Abdeslam, charged and incarcerated in France

Hamza Attou, a Belgian accused of having aided Salah Abdeslam in escaping following the attacks of November 13th in Paris and who was transferred Wednesday to France, was charged and incarcerated, stated Thursday the Prosecutor’s Office of Paris to AFP. He was charged with “concealing an offender in relation to a terrorist operation,” stated the Prosecutor’s Office

Together with another man, Mohamed Amri, he went to find Salah Abdeslam – the only member of the Paris commandos still alive – in Paris, on the night of the attacks, and took him to Brussels.

Hamza Attou, aged 22, was arrested on November 14th in the Belgian capital, and had, since the end of April, a European arrest warrant issued against him.
