The Catalan ex-President Carles Puigdemont filed a complaint in Belgium after the discovery, about two weeks ago, of a tracking device placed under his vehicle, report several media on the basis of the El Espanol news site. Advisors of the Catalan separatist, who is currently detained in Germany, have warned the local police in Waterloo, where he has occupied a villa since February. A complaint has been filed for violation of privacy.
The investigation will have to try to determine who is responsible for placing this chip. Furthermore, it seems that a telephone card has been found inside the tracker, specify the media. Questioned by Belga Thursday, the Waterloo local police zone and the court did not wish to comment on the case.
