A flight from Reus (Barcelona) to Brussels-Charleroi airport was diverted to Bordeaux after experiencing turbulence on Wednesday night, according to a press release from the airline on Thursday. 2 members of the crew suffered minor injuries. The l’Avenir website reported testimonies from passengers who talked about a casualty after heavy turbulence. “The plane landed without any problems and medical staff dealt with 2 crew members who were slightly injured,” points out Ryanair.
The airline adds that another plane and crew were substituted from Barcelona to minimise delay for passengers who were offered refreshment vouchers in Bordeaux before heading for Belgium.
