People with information about, or who are worried about Belgians currently in Nepal can call the Foreign Office on 02/501.40.00 and 02/501.40.01 as of today, indicated Michael Mareel, assistant spokesperson for the Foreign Office, on Monday afternoon. The 2 telephone numbers were made available to manage the high number of calls expected.
The Foreign Office also confirmed that 2 Belgians were injured in the major earthquake which shook the country on Saturday. There is still no news of 23 other Belgians currently in Nepal.
