England: A Belgian sentenced to 8 years in prison for drug trafficking

A 64 year old man from Bruges has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for drug trafficking by a court in Canterbury, England. This was revealed by the Sudpresse newspapers on Thursday. The Belgian man was arrested on the 20th of January in Dover, just after arriving from Calais (France). He had 52 kilos of cocaine and three grams of heroin hidden in his luxury car. The drugs seized had an estimated value of 14,4 million euros.

When he was arrested, the man admitted to the investigators he had already made five similar trips.
