Two men, including the controversial Islamist preacher Anjem Choudary (AC), were accused of openly calling to support Islamic State by the British public prosecutor on Wednesday, reveals CNN. Anjem Choudary is said to be the spiritual father of Fouad Belkacem, leader of Sharia4Belgium, currently serving a prison sentence in Belgium. Anjem Choudary and Mohammed Mizanur Rahman will appear in court in London on Wednesday. “We have decided there is sufficient evidence to charge Anjem Choudary and Mohammed Rahman with publicly preaching for support of the terrorist group IS between June 29th, 2014 and March 6th of this year,” explained Sue Hemming, chief of the antiterrorist cell, in a declaration. These calls for support were then posted online.
