Paris attacks - the five people arrested in raids in Brussels and Laeken released

The five people arrested during last Sunday evening's raids in Brussels and Monday morning's in Laeken, in connection with the Paris attacks investigation, were released on Monday after appearing before an investigating judge specialising in terrorism cases, and being questioned by federal judicial police. The prosecutor's office indicated on Monday that the investigation is ongoing.

On Sunday evening, after a raid in Brussels' Rue de la Clef, two brothers and their friend were taken into custody. The raids were ordered following a thorough phone investigation, stated the federal prosecutor's office. Two other people were taken in for questioning on Monday morning after a raid in Laeken.
