This week, the TUI fly travel group will repatriate 2,377 of its Belgian customers from Morocco to Belgium, the company announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The Moroccan government announced that it would close its airspace for two weeks to prevent the further spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant, but TUI received permission for repatriation flights.

As a result, TUI fly has to cancel some of its flights, but the company can bring customers back to Belgium.

This will happen in 18 repatriation flights between 1 and 5 December, stated the company. The flights will depart from various Moroccan airports and land in Brussels, Charleroi and Antwerp.
