Several ramps of the St Antonius Hospital car park in Nieuwegein, in the Dutch province of Utrecht, have collapsed.

There were reportedly no victims trapped under the rubble, according to a spokesperson for the Utrecht regional safety authority on Monday morning.

Specialised rescue teams, including Urban Search and Rescue Netherlands (USAR.NL), scoured the car park with three search dogs.

"There were no findings. We have no indications of anyone being present and no reports of missing people," the spokesperson further explained. "We deduce that no one was present when the collapse occurred."

The six-storey structure is accessed via two roads. Although part of the hospital grounds, renowned company Q-Park owns the building.
