French President Emmanuel Macron reappointed Sébastien Lecornu as Prime Minister on Friday evening, just four days after his resignation.
The announcement was made in a communiqué issued by the Élysée.
“The President of the Republic has appointed Sébastien Lecornu as Prime Minister and tasked him with forming a government,” the statement said.
