Six months to the day after Russia invaded Ukraine, more than 50 countries, including the United States, all EU member States and the United Kingdom, have condemned the war.

”We call on the Russian Federation to end its total disregard for its international obligations under international law, including the United Nations Charter, international humanitarian law and international human rights law,” Ukraine’s UN ambassador, Sergiy Kyslytsya, said on Wednesday in New York on behalf of the countries concerned.

Their call came on the anniversary of the declaration of Ukraine's independence from the then Soviet Union in 1991.
