A deadly blast on Monday at a mosque inside police headquarters in Peshawar, Pakistan, has claimed over 60 lives, according to a hospital spokesman.
“So far we have recovered 61 bodies and 60 injured people are receiving medical treatment,” Muhammad Asim Khan, a spokesman for Lady Reading Hospital in the northwestern city of Peshawar, told French news agency AFP.
“Dozens of other injured people have been taken to other hospitals in the city,” Khan said.
