A 22-year-old man died in Marseille on Friday night after sustaining injuries in a scooter accident following a police check evasion.
The young man reportedly fled a police control in the IXth district in the south of the city, leading to him losing control of his scooter over a speed bump.
He was ejected onto the ground, and despite the initial care provided by the police, he passed away at the scene due to his injuries.
