At 09:35 (CET) on Wednesday, Lahbib met with her American counterpart Antony Blinken, in the wider context of a meeting between all of the Foreign Ministers of NATO's Member States in Bucharest. Among those present were the Finnish and Swedish Ministers for Foreign Affairs, whose countries have recently been formally invited to join NATO.

Furthermore, after a first day of talks on Tuesday between all allies, a conclusion was reached for more aid to be provided to Ukraine to restart its energy infrastructure damaged by the Russian army.
