The Icelandic low-cost carrier, Play, which flies between Europe and North America, with a stopover in Iceland, says it will operate three weekly flights between Reykjavík and Brussels Airport from 28 May to 7 September.

The flights will take slightly over three hours.

This will be the budget airline's third consecutive year at Zaventem Airport.

Passengers can stay over in Iceland for up to 10 days at no extra cost when travelling between Europe and North America, according to Play, which launched its first flight in 2021.

The airline now has a fleet of 10 Airbus A320s.

In addition to its European routes, the Icelandic carrier runs flights to several North American destinations, including Baltimore, Boston, New York and Washington DC in the United States, and Toronto, Canada.
