A man was arrested on Monday after a gunshot was fired on Avenue Louise in Brussels, according to the Brussels-Capital-Ixelles police.
No one was injured in the incident, which occurred at about 6:25 a.m. outside the restaurant 'Bloody Louis,' and was first reported by media outlets.
“The police were alerted to a gunshot fired into the air. No injuries were reported, and one man was arrested,” said Linda Camarero-Verde, spokesperson for the Brussels-Capital-Ixelles police.
She confirmed a perimeter had been set up following the incident and that an investigation was currently underway to establish the exact circumstances surrounding it.
