Two individuals were stabbed and injured in Schaerbeek and Saint-Gilles in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to Brussels North police zone.
The first incident occurred at around 02:00 on Rue des Plantes in Schaerbeek. Police were called to a knife wound victim who sustained injuries to their forearm. Emergency services treated the victim, and deemed that the wounds were not serious. An investigation has been launched.
Three hours later, at approximately 05:00, Brussels South police zone received a call about another individual wounded near Square Jacques Franck in Saint-Gilles.
Upon arrival, police found an individual with knife wounds, who was later hospitalised. Police have initiated a further investigation into the incident.
