A man lost his life after being electrocuted in a work accident in Maaseik (Limburg province) at around 14:00 on Wednesday.
The Maasland police area was called to the scene to note initial details of the incident.
The man was carrying out maintenance work on a cooling system in the Kloosterbempden shopping centre.
The accident is expected to be investigated by the Labour Inspectorate.
