Tuesday’s forecast predicts changing weather patterns with intermittent showers and sunny spells.
Throughout the day, showers will sweep through the country from the west, with skies often clouded. Particularly in the north-west of the country, rain may become heavy, with the possibility of thunderstorms, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute’s (IRM) predictions.
Temperatures range from 17 to 18°C in the high Ardennes and seaside regions, to a local 21°C in the Liège region and Limburg province. Moderate winds are expected which may increase in strength on the coast, with gusts up to 50 or 60 km/h from the south-west.
Wednesday brings calmer weather and rain showers are very unlikely. It will also be warmer with highs of 19 or 20°C in the Hautes-Fagnes region to 23 or 24°C in the centre, under light west to south-west winds that will eventually become variable.
Thursday’s weather remains dry with alternating sunny spells and cloud cover. It will be warmer with highs between 23 to 27°C.
Friday will generally be sunny and warm.
