Monetary transactions are expected to be disrupted in Belgium on Monday morning due to the maintenance work of electronic payment systems operated by payment service provider Worldline.
The disruptions are expected to take place from 00:15 to 04:30 on Monday morning. During the maintenance period, electronic payments made using Bancontact, Maestro, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit, Visa and Visa Debit may not be possible.
The maintenance work may affect payments carried out in physical stores as well as online transactions throughout the country.
Additionally, cash withdrawals at ATMs will not be possible, according to Worldline.
