Saturday afternoon is set to see considerable sunshine throughout Belgium according to forecasts from the Royal Meteorological Institute (RMI).
Temperatures are expected to range from 23°C in the High Fens and at the sea, to 27-28°C in Belgian Lorraine, and 25-26°C in the central regions.
While wind conditions should remain moderate, gusts of up to 50 km/h could potentially hit the coast.
During the night, cloud cover may slightly increase and some mist could descend upon the Condroz region. Overnight lows will remain warm, between 17 and 20°C, under light to moderate winds.
Sunday will see a slight increase in heat, with temperatures reaching between 28 to 32°C.
The higher ground of the Ardennes and the coast will be somewhat cooler at between 26 and 28°C.
The day may begin with a few showers, potentially even thunderstorms, mainly towards the extreme west. The majority of the day, however, is expected to be dry and sunny, before cumulus clouds begin to build up late in the afternoon, possibly leading to isolated thunderstorms.
The night from Sunday to Monday should be fairly clear, although isolated showers or thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. The night will remain warm with temperatures between 17 and 21°C, under light winds.
Monday morning will still be pleasant, but the weather will later change as showers and thunderstorms may roll in. Maximum temperatures of around 27°C are expected, with light winds.
